Assessment of Four-Seasonal Quality and Yield of Cut Flower Roses Grafted onto Rosa Rootstocks
نویسندگان
چکیده
Cut roses are ornamental crops that produced year-round, and the quality yield of these cut flowers vary depending on temperature light intensity four seasons. Grafting improves productivity by increasing adaptability to negative environments, such as high low intensity. The effectiveness grafting depends type scion rootstock. In order confirm stenting roses, two varieties (Rosa hybrida cv. Pink Beauty Shine) were grafted onto three rootstocks (R. multiflora Natal Briar, R. indica Major, Rosa Hort. No. 1), which widely used in rose, investigated year-round according seasons; then, principal component analysis (PCA) was performed. (PB) showed excellent growth autumn when low. PB Briar (NA) rootstock improved spring, winter, excluding summer, had effect lengthening stem. Major (RI) also autumn, except particular, stem lengthened thickened. rosa Shine (PS) a variety whose increased summer high. PS gave higher than scion. graft PS/Natal longer stems scion, PS/Major thicker 1 (N1) more petals As such, canina brier length, relatively temperatures, length diameter, enhancing temperatures.

Nitrate and potassium uptake by greenhouse roses (Rosa hybrida) along successive flower-cut cycles: a model and its calibration
Rose (Rosa hybrida L.) plants grown for cut-flower production in greenhouses produce flowers in flushes year-round. Crop models for this system must handle the cyclical nature of productivity, which is determined by the horticultural production methods. Nutrition was not accounted for in previous rose growth models, since little is known about uptake of the essential nutrients by rose roots. Th...
متن کاملPostharvest Assessment of Lignifying Enzymes Activity, Flower Stem Lignification and Bending Disorder of Gerbera Cut Flower
Scape bending disorder is the most important factor affecting postharvest loss of gerbera cut flowers. One of the ultimate reasons for gerbera stem bending is lignin, with deformation structural functions and defensive mechanisms. This postharvest experiment was conducted to evaluate the role of phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) and peroxidase (POD) enzymes activity in stem bending of two gerbe...
